Mechanical and Electrical Design/Build and Service
Exceptional Service Extends Equipment Life

Ohio’s first and longest running television station is WEWS in Cleveland. Their current facility was built in 1956. Many of the mechanical systems installed then are still operating today thanks to the Brewer-Garrett Assured Service Program.
“We would not be able to operate the station cost effectively if it wasn’t for Brewer-Garrett,” says Building Manager, Terry Joyce. “Our air conditioning system is critical for all of our electronic equipment and the comfort of our on-air talent. The heart of the system was installed when the building was built, and is still reliably operating today.”
In addition, as the station has grown, Brewer-Garrett has been able to reengineer the systems to meet the current needs of the space. For example, the electrical team recently provided a complete modernization to the building’s electrical systems, including updating the incoming service, retrofitting the motor control centers, and replacing the antiquated generators with a new, energy efficient system.
“Service is what it is all about. From the maintenance program to the service technicians, call handling and emergency service, I know I can rely on Brewer-Garrett.”
