The Industrial Client
Service is critical to both comfort and process. For over twenty years this industrial client has partnered with The Brewer-Garrett Company to assure they have well-maintained and efficiently-running systems. The Brewer-Garrett Company service department manages both preventive maintenance, repair/replacement for mechanical and process equipment and bar coded tasking. The building automation systems, controlling the mechanical equipment in their facilities, are tied into The Brewer-Garrett Company offices. The Brewer-Garrett Company construction department works with them on large capital projects. The variety of equipment and size of projects at this client's facilities are quite extensive. The Brewer-Garrett Company technicians can be called upon to perform anything from a small valve replacement to the installation of large chillers plants. Air handling equipment, pumps, motors and drives are just an example of the types of equipment serviced by Brewer-Garrett. Process equipment such as specialized chillers, large motors and hydraulic presses are also serviced.
One significant project completed recently for this industrial client was the complete remodel of their office building. This approximately 90,000 square foot facility was slated for remodeling to enhance the flow of work. With the reconfiguration of space came the need to reevaluate the mechanical systems throughout. The Brewer-Garrett Company was called upon to design the new mechanical systems. solution developed was an upgrade to the boiler plant's peripheral equipment, perimeter outer loop and the control system. The aging rooftop units were replaced with four new 30 ton units and the first generation VAV system was replaced with state of the art technology. The DDC control system was enhanced and networked with The Brewer-Garrett Company offices. This was a fast track project and completed in three months. Sheetmetal workers, pipefitters, controls technicians and service fitters worked together to bring this project in on time.
Another very successful project recently completed for this industrial client was a stainless steel process piping project at one of their plants. This program was a classic example of successful partnering. When Industrial client needed to replace deteriorating PVC process piping, The Brewer-Garrett Company was called in to assist. Utilizing an advanced welding system, Brewer-Garrett replaced 1,500 linear feet of 3 inch piping and the central compressor plant. The project was carried out during production periods, with zero downtime for the facility.
