The Timken Company, which is located in Canton, Ohio, is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered bearings, alloy steels, and related components and assemblies. Their technologies and products turn up virtually everywhere equipment moves or power is transmitted.
The Brewer-Garrett Company has worked closely with Timken to provide major facility upgrades that effectively reduced overall energy and operating costs at multiple Ohio-based manufacturing plants. Brewer-Garrett installed three new and complete steam plants, including steam generators and electrical equipment, piping, and controls.
The Brewer-Garrett performance contract also included HVAC improvements, two hot water boiler plants, chilled water improvements, fire protection, steam trap surveys and replacement of failed traps, and the installation of an advanced Direct Digital Controls Energy Management System. In addition, Brewer-Garrett’s Service Division provides on-site staffing for facility maintenance and efficient operations of multiple facilities in Ohio.
