Expertise in qualifying customers for utility rebates
Updating your facility’s equipment to be more energy efficient will immediately result in a reduction in your energy bills. Incentives offered through utility companies can reduce the initial costs substantially, achieving an increased return on investment and a shorter payback period.
The Brewer-Garrett Company has the expertise and experience to assist our customers in qualifying for these incentives and in completing the required applications to obtain them. Brewer-Garrett has procured more than $648,771 from FirstEnergy and AEP rebates for our customers... and counting!
AEP Ohio offers several incentives for businesses to reduce the cost of implementing energy efficient technologies including:
- Heating and Cooling (HVAC)
- Motors and drives
- Food preparation and storage equipment
First Energy has retired their rebate program however customers can still invest in new energy projects to see savings on their electric bill in the form of a DSE2 Rider Exemption.
The DSE2 rider exemption has always been an option under the previous rebate program. Most customers elected to receive a lump sum rebate as opposed to a rescinded cost that was taken off their electrical utility bill for a set number of years.
