A period of sustained growth meant that Timken Steel expanded from one central steam plant to a total of eight plants that needed to be operated and maintained.
Solution
Because their manufacturing processes involve intense heating needs, Timken Steel needed an HVAC system they could count on. We had the perfect solution.
Assured Service Program
We provided an Assured Service Program to guarantee uptime, minimize downtime, and ensure energy savings. We also perform service and maintenance on equipment covered by the program.
As part of Timken’s customized plan, if a piece of equipment goes down, we must have qualified repair personnel on-site within two hours. If we don’t, Brewer-Garrett pays Timken back. Similarly, we must have system operation restored within eight hours, or we would have to pay Timken back.
Results
In the 13 years of our partnership with Timken, we have never missed a performance goal or had to pay them back.
