After working under a preventive maintenance contract and through a commissioning project, Brewer‐Garrett was selected to perform lighting upgrades at eight LCS facilities.
Opportunity
The previous lighting structures were antiquated and provided insufficient aesthetic and brightness that the schools desired.
Solution
BG increased illumination in parking lots to improve student and faculty safety. High efficiency exit signs and site fixtures were used to boost energy performance, and classroom and athletic facilities were installed with adjustable lighting levels.
Results
Our solution generated energy savings through lighting improvements to outweigh the project investment cost and will return roughly $143,080 to the district. This guaranteed savings is coupled with ongoing measurement and verification services used to monitor savings and eliminate any risk to the district.
