Seneca County, OHGuaranteed Energy Savings Contract
Facing rising energy costs and aging infrastructure, Seneca County selected BG to modernize facilities across the county through a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract. BG developed and implemented a comprehensive energy conservation program that improved efficiency, reduced operational costs, and enhanced occupant comfort throughout multiple county facilities. The project included countywide LED lighting retrofits, building envelope improvements, HVAC system upgrades, and retro-commissioning services to optimize long-term performance. Key improvements included a modernized boiler plant at the county jail, a new chiller system for the Jobs and Family Services building, and upgraded air handling units at the RTA facility. By combining strategic infrastructure investments with performance-driven energy solutions, BG delivered measurable utility savings, improved reliability, and extended equipment lifespan thus helping Seneca County create more sustainable, efficient facilities.
